Director Rohit Shetty is currently gearing up for the release of his web series Indian Police Force. The show will star Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi in key roles. Meanwhile, he is also shooting for Ajay Devgn-led Singham Again. Both projects are part of his ‘cop-verse’ and introduce new actors as the police. As such, the director was recently asked if he wanted to bring Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir into the ‘cop-verse’ as well.During Pinkvilla’s event, a fan asked Rohit Shetty if he could pick among Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, who would he choose to bring into his ‘cop-verse.’ Rohit said, “All 3. Ek ko bhi kyu chodu main?” When the fan asked if Rohit already has plans in the place for the same, he replied, “Aaraam aaraam se. Bahut time hai, abhi puri industry ko cop bana denge. Tu tension mat le… Koi nahi bachega! Ek humara alag se Police function hoga.” This left everyone in splits.Rohit’s last film with Shah Rukh Khan, Chennai Express, was a huge hit. Rohit mentioned that he wants to make films like that again. “Even I feel the need to make a film like Chennai Express. If I crack a story which is good and grand, I will make a fresh film,” the filmmaker said. The film also featured Deepika Padukone in the lead, who is all set to be introduced as a cop in Rohit Shetty’s ‘cop-verse’ in Singham Again.
Meanwhile, Rohit’s upcoming series, Indian Police Force, is scheduled to be released on January 19 on Amazon Prime. It will mark his digital directorial debut. The show will star Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi in key roles. Indian Police Force also stars Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi and Lalit Parimoo in pivotal roles.
