We visited in DMCH on 19th July 2022 and collected information from the hospital and health worker. We talked with the people and got information that most of the people were job holder and businessman; so they missed their 3rd dose vaccine at due time after getting message on their cell phone. We came to know that their working place was far distance from vaccination center ( DMCH).
For that reason most of them could not take the 3rd dose/ booster dose.
Some illiterate people and some people could not get vaccination because of their center variation. For this campaign all these people were benefited.
The vaccination program was started
at 8 AM and run through 4 PM.
We observed the environment and stayed the center for full vaccination time. It should be noted that the age above 18 years of people were eligible for the vaccination.
At the beginning of campaign program a few people were coming for vaccination.
But slowly people started to come.
After 10 AM. The Director General of Health Service of Bangladesh (DGHS).
has visited the campaign and he said that people are less interested to take booster dose than before that’s why the rash of people was lower than their expectation.
But he assured that the vaccine campaign will be arranged again so that the misvaccinated people would be benefited.
We collected data from the center made a bar chart through the age group (year)and percentage (%) of vaccination. Almost 60% of people were between 40-50 years of age..25% of people between 18-40years.10% between 50-60years.And least 5% above 60years.
